Social media will generate 10x bigger datasets than now. Analytics would play a major role in making sense of this data. However, we need to push further.

With Bitcoin values at an all-time high, it’s natural that the tech that powers the crypto currency (blockchain) would begin to attract attention. Gartner listed blockchain as one of the top ten strategic technologies for 2020. It said public blockchains are presently too immature for enterprise deployment due to poor scalability and interoperability but expects the technology to overcome these issues by 2023.

By 2020, 50% of the Global 2000 will see most of their businesses depend on their ability to create products, services, and experiences that are digitally enhanced.
